2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee
If you're in the market for a new SUV, you'll have plenty of choices. The popularity of this class of car has driven the market to produce a wide variety of models to choose from, but some tend to stand out among the rest. The new Grand Cherokee is especially impressive if you're looking for state-of-the-art features and off-road capabilities. Learn all about the new 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and discover whether it's right for you.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
With four trim levels to choose from, it's easy to find a Grand Cherokee that fits your needs with the style you're looking for. At the base level, you'll find the Laredo trim, which already comes equipped with LED headlights and taillights in addition to 17-inch painted aluminum wheels. If that's not enough, you can opt for the Limited trim, which boasts a power liftgate and LED fog lights.
The higher trim levels begin with the Overland, as it sports 20-inch wheels and a sunroof standard in addition to rain-sensing wipers. If you won't settle for anything less than the top-level trim, you need the Summit Grand Cherokee. This model offers 21-inch wheels and a host of exciting interior features.
Engine (Power)
Under the hood of the Grand Cherokee, you'll find one of three engine options. With the standard engine, you'll have a 3.6-liter V-6 that offers 293 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. The 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 packs a bit more of a punch thanks to its 357 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. If you opt for the hybrid Grand Cherokee, you'll get a third engine with 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque, making it the strongest of the three options.
Performance
One of the cornerstones of the Grand Cherokee's performance is its impressive off-road capability. As you might expect from Jeep, this SUV can tackle a variety of road conditions, especially with its Selec-Terrain Traction Management System. With settings for rock, snow, mud, and sand, among others, you can augment your vehicle to be suited for the terrain with the flip of a switch.
Interior
When you're behind the wheel of the Grand Cherokee, you can enjoy a range of luxurious features such as available 16-way power adjustment for the front seats and a massage mode. If you're more interested in cargo, the Grand Cherokee has plenty to offer, with 84.6 cubic feet of space when you fold down the rear seats.
Safety Features
Thanks to its collection of safety features, you can drive the Grand Cherokee with peace of mind. Adaptive cruise control, for instance, comes with stop-and-go functionality, but that's just the beginning. The Grand Cherokee can also be outfitted with full-speed forward collision warning with automatic braking that comes with pedestrian and cyclist detection too. The Active Driving Assist feature is also impressive, as it uses special sensors to help you maintain your lane and keep a safe distance from other vehicles on the road.
