7 Standout Features of the 2021 Jeep Compass

Just as its name implies, the Jeep Compass is a vehicle for navigating uncharted paths while remaining in the comfort of a modern and stylized vehicle. The 2021 model offers 4x4 capability coupled with advanced safety features and plenty of interior space. With that said, here are seven standout features that the 2021 Jeep Compass has to offer. 1. Capability With Fuel Efficiency The 2.4-liter Tigershark engine found under the hood of the Compass is the perfect combination of both power and efficiency. With 177 horsepower offered, it allows up to 31 mpg in highway driving along with a towing capacity of up to 2,000 pounds. This means the Compass is fully capable of both city and off-road driving, while also being versatile enough to tow a trailer, boat, or camper behind it for weekend getaways. more 2. Distance-Keeping Technology Keeping distance between your vehicle and others can be difficult when traffic conditions frequently change. The available Adaptive Cruise Control system can do this for you automatically after you've set your preferred distance. 3. Intuitive Windshield Wipers Whether it's rain or snow you're dealing with, the windshield wipers on the Compass have available features to tackle both problems intuitively. Available rain-sensing windshield wipers will automatically activate whenever moisture is detected on the windshield glass, while the optional windshield wiper de-icer heats the lower part of the windshield so your windshield wipers remain clear and free of ice. 4. Multiple Off-Road Terrain Modes The available Selec-Terrain Traction Management System, which comes standard in all 4x4 models, provides greater traction for challenging surfaces. The following five different traction modes are available: Auto, Snow, Sand, Mud, and Rock. While you can simply leave the vehicle in Auto Mode for greater fuel efficiency during both on- and off-road driving, you can also manually toggle between any of the other modes when the terrain becomes more rugged and you need more power. 5. Automatic Rain Brake Support When you have to quickly stop in wet conditions, braking power is important. The Rain Brake Support System is therefore a crucial safety feature, as it works to keep your brake pads and calipers dry for improved braking performance. 6. Fully Configurable Cargo Space With 59.8 cubic feet of cargo room, the Compass is a small SUV with a surprising amount of space inside. An available height-adjustable cargo floor provides three different levels of space for times when you need to decide if less or more room is needed. 7. A Co-Pilot That Monitors For You The available Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning system alerts you whenever you're approaching another vehicle at a dangerous speed. This feature also includes Active Braking, which applies the brakes if you fail to respond to the visual and audio warnings. As the premier dealership for Southwest Dakota, we keep all the latest models in our inventory and know these vehicles inside and out. Our friendly staff is more than capable of answering any questions you may have about the 2021 Compass and its available options. What's Included in a Standard Jeep Warranty?

If you're thinking about purchasing a Jeep, you might be wondering what sort of warranty coverage is included. All cars need repairs and maintenance from time to time, and comprehensive warranty coverage can save you a lot of money over the life of your car. Let's take a look at what a typical Jeep warranty comes with in Dickinson, ND. Basic Limited Warranty Also called the bumper-to-bumper warranty, this will cover parts and labor for any necessary repairs due to defective parts or materials corresponding to factory production or workmanship, at no charge to you. The warranty lasts for 3 years from the date of purchase or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. It also includes Jeep roadside assistance for towing your car to a dealership should that be required. There are a few restrictions, and some things are not covered by this warranty. These include unwired headphones, tire issues or blow-outs, and any custom accessories, parts, or items not original to the factory vehicle. more Powertrain Limited Warranty This warranty covers your Jeep's powertrain for 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. It covers the cost of any parts and labor for repairs to the engine, transmission, axle, and transaxle components for front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive, all-wheel drive, and four-wheel drive Jeeps. The powertrain warranty does not cover items such as scheduled lubrication and tune-ups, wiper blades, filters, bulbs, coolant, and brake pads. Corrosion Limited Warranty The corrosion warranty covers the cost of repairs and replacement due to rust, holes, or other corrosion in your car's metal panels. It is divided into two categories: one that covers most sheet metal panels, which is good for 3 years and unlimited miles, and another that refers to the car's outer metal panels, which is good for 5 years and unlimited miles. Emissions Limited Warranty The Federal Emissions warranty lasts for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. It corresponds to parts that manage your car's emissions, such as the fuel injection system, air system controls, exhaust manifold, and oxygen sensors. Certain emissions parts are covered for 8 years or 80,000 miles. These include the catalytic converter, powertrain control module, 48-volt power pack unit, and belt-driven hybrid starter generator. MOPAR Limited Warranty The MOPAR warranty covers certain additional parts that are not covered by the basic limited warranty. There are different time and mileage restrictions for each of these, for example, some are only covered for one year or 12,000 miles. Parts covered by the MOPAR warranty include batteries, alternators, water pumps, mufflers, shocks and struts, brake pads, gaskets, and seals. This extensive warranty coverage should provide you with solid peace of mind as you consider purchasing your next Jeep. Stop by Charbonneau Chrysler Center if you have any questions or would like further explanation about these warranties. We have a terrific selection of new and used Jeeps for you to choose from and look forward to your visit.
