When the Grand Cherokee doesn’t quite have enough seating, but the Wagoneer is a step too large, the three-row 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L is there to fill the gap. With room for seven passengers or extra cargo as needed, it packs extra capability into the Grand Cherokee’s mid-size SUV frame without pushing it into full-size territory.
Stretching
The Grand Cherokee L has the longest wheelbase in the mid-size SUV class. That extra space translates into best-in-class second-row legroom with the standard-issue bucket seats. There’s also a bench seat available for the second row, increasing the seating capacity to seven. The second and third row seats fold down for an expanded cargo area, and the second row slides forward for easy passenger loading.
With all seats up and ready for passengers, there are 17.2 cubic feet of storage behind the third row. With just the back row down, there’s 46.9 cubic feet of space. With both back rows folded down, there’s an impressive 84.5 cubic feet available for cargo.
